General Information
Asbestos is a group of minerals that was commonly placed in various building materials. Asbestos is still legal to use in many types of materials and asbestos-containing materials are still imported and installed in buildings. Exposure to loose asbestos fibers can impact occupant health and result in diseases such as lung cancer and mesothelioma. Conducting asbestos testing or asbestos abatement (removal) typically requires State certifications and/or State licenses. Our consulting team is credentialed to provide asbestos testing and consulting services. To avoid a conflict of interest, our company does not also conduct asbestos abatement services.

Our Services
Fire Burn & Demolition Asbestos Assessments
In many states all scheduled fire burn properties and demolitions commercial/industrial building, multi-unit buildings, and some single-family residences require testing to determine if asbestos-containing materials are present. We complete assessments of buildings, conduct testing, and provide a report describing our results and indicating which materials require removal.

Renovation Assessments
Renovations in various types of buildings and residences require testing of affected building materials (both old and new materials) for asbestos prior to starting the work. Removal of the asbestos-containing materials may require a State-credentialed asbestos company. Our company completes surveys and conducts testing prior to the renovations. We will then guide our client in complying with asbestos regulations.

Real Estate Assessments
Our consultants will assess either specific materials or buildings in general to identify potential-asbestos containing materials and potential exposure to occupants. We will then provide a report of our findings, testing results, and recommendations for addressing identified items.

Post-Abatement Testing
Following removal of asbestos-containing materials, our consultants can conduct a post-abatement assessment with testing. We will physically assess the space to ensure the materials were removed and surfaces adequately cleaned. Then we will collect and analyze air samples for the presence of airborne fibers. These samples will be analyzed for the general presence of airborne fibers (both asbestos and non-asbestos) on-site for instant results. The samples can then be sent to a partnering laboratory for a more specific testing to identify and confirm the presence of airborne asbestos fibers.
